How dare nature ruin such a perfect summer day?
HIGH TIDE is an apocalyptic drawing-room drama set on the last shore of paradise. A group of escapists enjoys an idyllic picnic while the world crumbles around them. How deep must one bury their head in the sand to avoid seeing the rising sea? The ocean is howling, the horizon tilting – but there is still time for another drink!
HIGH TIDE is a visceral physical theatre production performed by a tightly knit ensemble. Breathing through the body and the subconscious, the work explores the tipping point – the moment when something reaches its absolute limit.
Kauri Honkakoski Company is a powerhouse of Finnish physical theatre, renowned for their captivatingly distinctive performances. Previous works, the critically acclaimed Hinterland and The Desk, sold out rapidly. HIGH TIDE features the Company’s talented ensemble.
The box office is now open for this highly anticipated production!
